• High School Portfolios

Each high school student has a folder created for them their freshman year as a way to keep track of all of their activities, awards, and recognitions throughout their high school career.  These are intended to make the college application process, or resume building process, a little easier.

The folders are kept in the GCS Lab. Each has a place for academic, arts, athletic, and agricultural achievements, as well as leadership and community volunteer time. There are pockets for copies of awards or certificates. Activities outside of school that fit into these categories can be tracked as well, such as dance competitions or competitive sports leagues. Participation in clubs should be recorded as well.

It will be the STUDENT'S responsibility to keep up with these and record their accomplishments. You are welcome to stop by and look at your student's portfolio!
