The 2021-2022 school year was my first year teaching in BDISD.
I began teaching in the classroom in 2006 for Crowley ISD. While I was there, I taught Kindergarten, !st and 2nd grades.
In 2015, my husband and I moved to Indiana for four years. While I was there, I worked as a Para-Professional in a SpEd classroom.
During the 2019-2020 and 2020-2021 school years, I worked as a Substitute for Stephenville and Granbury ISDs. The majority of my assignments involved working with Special Education students.
My husband, Doug and I were marrried in 1988.
We have two children. Our oldest is our daughter, Katie. She lives with her husband, Jimbob and our granddaughter, Sutton in Mansfield, Texas. Our son is Andrew. He lives in Bluff Dale.
I am a huge animal lover! We currently have 2 dogs, 2 cats and 2 Hermit Crabs. In the past, our pets have included snakes, hamsters, lizards and even a hedgehog or two.
My favorite thing is being a “Mimi” and spending time with our granddaughter! When I am not doing that, I enjoy Reading, Gardening and anything DISNEY. My husband and I like to eat out, way too much!! Mexican Food is our favorite! I also love my coffee!!!
